Chinese New Year Dinner and Membership Privilege Card Launch Ceremony Organised by the Province Wellesley Gold & Silver Ornament Merchants Association (PWGS)
配合农历新年即将到来,PWGS 特别主办了新春晚宴,与公会会员交流联系,大会更特别增设了会员福利卡推展礼,吸引约50名商家参与,为近百名会员提供专属福利。
新春佳节不仅象征新的开始,更代表团结、合作与希望。PWGS 自成立以来,始终秉持团结威省金银珠宝业者、维护行业权益、推动产业发展,并为会员创造更多合作与交流机会的宗旨,持续为业界搭建更稳固、更具价值的平台。
会上除了财神爷派红包,抢电子红包环节更是将气氛推向高峰,会员们其乐融融,乐在其中。
随同与会者包括马来西亚金钻珠宝商公会联合总会副会长兼威省金银饰品商业公会会务顾问准拿督刘俊辉、总会副会长兼槟州金钻商公会主席拿督朱益漳、槟城金银商业公会会长黄润平、会务顾问陈银生、洪栐臻、名誉顾问拿督罗绍昌、冯瀚民及众多理事,场面其乐融融。
The Province Wellesley Gold & Silver Ornaments Association (PWGS) hosted a Chinese New Year Dinner in conjunction with the official launch of its Membership Privilege Card Programme.
In celebration of the upcoming Lunar New Year, PWGS organized the festive dinner to strengthen connections and foster engagement among its members. The event also featured a special launch ceremony for the Membership Privilege Card Programme, which attracted the participation of approximately 50 merchants, offering exclusive benefits to nearly 100 members.
The Chinese New Year not only symbolizes new beginnings, but also represents unity, cooperation, and hope. Since its establishment, PWGS has remained committed to uniting gold and jewellery practitioners in Province Wellesley, safeguarding industry interests, promoting sector development, and creating more opportunities for collaboration and exchange among members, continuously building a stronger and more valuable platform for the industry.
In addition to the God of Prosperity distributing red packets, the electronic red packet lucky draw further brought the atmosphere to its peak. Members enjoyed the festive moments together in a joyful and harmonious spirit.

这场由马来西亚金钻珠宝商公会联合总会(FGJAM)联同威省、吉玻、槟州、槟城金银商业及霹雳属会,并与 Operion 数码公司筹办的电子发票讲座,成功邀请内陆税收局官员到来深入讲解电子发票(E-INVOICE)相关事项。

The 2026 E-Invoice Seminar concluded successfully, with nearly 30 company representatives in attendance. Participants engaged directly with officers from the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDNM), gaining hands-on guidance on the practical implementation of e-invoicing while raising and clarifying related questions on the spot.
The seminar was jointly organized by the Federation of Goldsmiths & Jewellers Associations of Malaysia (FGJAM) together with its affiliated associations from Province Wellesley, Kedah/Perlis, Penang State, Penang Gold & Silver, and Perak, in collaboration with Operion Digital Company. The event successfully invited LHDNM officers to provide in-depth explanations and insights on matters related to the E-Invoice system.

中国深圳市盐田区人民政府代表团亲临槟城州,与马来西亚金钻珠宝商公会联合总会以及威省金银饰品商业公会交流甚欢,探讨更多合作契机,共同开启互利共赢的新篇章。
马来西亚金钻珠宝商公会联合总会总会长拿督谢扶佑衷心期望借此次交流会,马中双方能够进一步加深了解, 共同探讨合作与发展的新机遇。

The delegation from the Yantian District People’s Government of Shenzhen, China, paid a visit to Penang, Malaysia, where they engaged in fruitful exchanges with the Federation Goldsmiths & Jewellers Associations of Malaysia(FGJAM)and the Province Wellesley Gold & Silver Ornament Merchants Association (PWGS). The discussions explored broader cooperation opportunities and marked the beginning of a new chapter of mutual benefit and win-win collaboration.
The President of the FGJAM, Dato’ Chiah Hock Yew, expressed his sincere hope that through this exchange session, both Malaysia and China could further strengthen mutual understanding and jointly explore new opportunities for cooperation and development.
PWGS President Mr. Poon Wai Kit stated that the opportunity to engage face-to-face with the Yantian District People’s Government delegation was both rare and valuable, serving as an important platform for deepening Malaysia–China exchanges and mutual learning. He looked forward to further discussions on various areas of collaboration, with the aim of creating more tangible and meaningful cooperation outcomes for enterprises on both sides.

马来西亚威省金银饰品商业公会代表团参访深圳黄金企业暨交流会
Delegation Visit to Gold Enterprises in Shenzhen, China by the Province Wellesley Gold & Silver Ornament Merchants Association.






























马来西亚威省金银饰品商业公会代表团于今年9月参访深圳黄金企业并开展交流会,为马中珠宝行业合作奠定基础,并推动黄金品牌走向国际市场。
本团一行代表在公会顾问准拿督刘俊辉以及主席潘伟杰的带领下,浩浩荡荡到中国深圳及香港交流,同时也参观黄金展,随同出席的包括总务甄亮禾、财政刘祐辰、理事黄家杰、沈俊杰、刘锦波等以及人数近30人出访。
参访目的主要是加深马中珠宝业界的交流,探索海外市场合作契机,包括从技术层面料及无焊料技术与品牌出海战略、了解花丝工业满足东南亚市场所需、线上采购平台及远程配货、智能制造机人文管理、珠宝照明解决方案等。
会后双方互赠礼物,传达建立长期合作机制的意愿,公会同时也欢迎中国珠宝企业到来马来西亚,并参展2026年的马来西亚黄金珠宝展销会。
A delegation from the Province Wellesley Gold & Silver Ornament Merchants Association (PWGS) visited gold enterprises in Shenzhen this September and held exchange sessions, laying a solid foundation for Malaysia–China collaboration in the jewellery industry and promoting Malaysian gold brands on the international stage.
The delegation was led by Association Advisor DJN Law Chin Hooi and President Mr. Poon Wai Kit, and travelled extensively to Shenzhen and Hong Kong for industry exchanges. The group also attended the World Gold Exhibition. Accompanying delegates included Honorary Secretary Chin Liang Hoe, Treasurer Lau ChinSeng, Council Members Wong Kar Jye, Sim Jun Jie, Stephen Lau Khim Por, among others, with a total delegation size of nearly 30 participants.
The main objective of the visit was to strengthen exchanges between the Malaysian and Chinese jewellery industries and to explore opportunities for overseas market collaboration. Key areas of discussion included advanced manufacturing technologies such as solder-free production techniques, brand internationalisation strategies, filigree craftsmanship to meet Southeast Asian market demand, online procurement platforms and remote supply-chain fulfilment, intelligent manufacturing and human-centric management, as well as jewellery lighting solutions.
At the conclusion of the visit, souvenirs were exchanged as a gesture of goodwill, expressing a shared commitment to establishing long-term cooperation mechanisms. PWGS also extended an invitation to China jewellery enterprises to visit Malaysia, and to participate in the Malaysia Gold & Jewellery Trade Exhibition 2026.

继与时并进的AI 课程后,威省金银饰品商业公会(PWGS)成功邀请马来西亚投资发展局(Malaysian Investment Development Authority,MIDA)主办一场线上讲座会,让会员们了解最新的政策,包括各类的资源以及税务减免等措施,这次活动也吸引了54家公司近70名会员及非会员报名参与。
这场活动于12月4日线上开展,历时2个多小时的分享,MIDA (制造业发展)执行董事Norhizam、MIDA(建筑科技与生活方式)董事Rozita Ibrahim、威省金银饰品商业公会(PWGS)会长潘伟杰分别在致词时,也感激双方促成了这项活动顺利进行,他们也希望类似的对话会,讲座会等可以持续的进行,促进双方的交流之余,也可以协助业者提升竞争力,进而促进国家经济增长。

PWGS and MIDA Successfully Co-Host Online Briefing on Government Incentives and Support
Following its recent success with the “AI for the Future” course, the Province Wellesley Gold & Silver Ornament Merchants Association (PWGS) once again took a proactive step to empower its members. In collaboration with the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), PWGS successfully organized an online briefing session on December 4, aimed at sharing the latest government policies, incentive schemes, and tax reliefs.
The virtual event attracted strong interest, with nearly 70 participants from 54 companies, including both members and non-members. The session lasted two hours more, during which MIDA provided in-depth explanations on several crucial topics, such as:
– Automation and mechanization grants worth up to RM10 million
– Green technology incentives available until 2026
– Import duty exemptions for machinery
– Reinvestment allowance for manufacturers
